We survived

That is right we survived.
7 days camping with a 5 month old and a 2.5 year old.

Not only did we survive, we had a blast.
Poor kids are board with mum now, they miss camping.

Gone camping

Be back in a week, hopefuly with family and sanity intact.

I have been playing with my pattern for my nappies for the past 6 months now.
They have been fitting my kiddos ok but when I sewed up some testers for other people they had some suggestions for re adjusting the fit.
With a few little tweaks of my pattern and the construction I now have a pattern that I love.

Chaos reigns

I have to be one of the most disorganized people i know (other than my dear sister in law)
This year i am going to change that or at least try.
I don't normally do "new years resolutions" but this year I really feel like there are a few things i would like to change.

my new years resolutions for 2010

• Be more organised, this includes meal plans, household chore lists and splitting my time up through the day to fit everything up better.
• Lose weight and be more active (like thats a new one hehe)
• Be more positive about everything.
  
• Enjoy my kids more, what a horrible wake up call when i looked over my facebook status's for 2009 and realised that the majority where complaints about my terror kids! I do love them dearly they just drive me crazy regularly.

This time next year i hope to be living in a world full of cuddles and far less chaos.

Happy birthday Handsome

My dear Husband celebrated the tenth anniversary of his 21st birthday yesterday (he doesn't seem to like to mention the word thirty especially now that he is another year older)
Lucky thing got 2 cakes (non made by me, I'm awful) my grandparents had one made for him and we also had a party with his family.
He shares his birthday with one of is younger brothers so we had cake galore!

Here is the first photo we have of all of the cousins on hubbies side of the family now.

Luke is one of 5 boys and so far only 3 are married with kids (we have each just had our second babies)

It is going to be interesting in 10 years to see how many we end up with hehe

On the left we have my 2- Christopher in the front and Samantha in the back, then the middle front is Claudia and behind her is her new little brother Riley, on the right front is Emma and behind her is her little sister Matilda.
I cant belive we got them all in the one picture at the same time!!!

here is a little something for all of those people who think i am crazy when i talk about Sammy beeing a cranky bum (just because you dont see it doesnt mean it never happens)

Well here i am, after a few failed attempts at blogging i have decided that this is the year that i will do it.
Will be interesting to see how i go.
